Inside Nathlaung Kyaung, the only Hindu temple in Bagan. It is said to have been built in 931 by King Taunghthugyi, more than a century before Theravada Buddhism came to Bagan

This temple is a must visit. It has a beautiful light and a peaceful calm

Children are always smiling in Bagan

Crowding around our car looking for sweets. They can get slightly rough wanting sweets from you but they don't mean any harm.

Enter the dark temples

I must mention that there are is no electricity and no lights in the temples. We look at the wall murals by shining our own torchlights. Please bring our own torchlights!

We stop for a toddy break.
